how do i audition?
Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester.
The process is simple:

Sing warm-up exercises and scales

Do some pitch-matching (we will play you 3-4 notes on the piano and ask you to sing them back to us

Sing a short solo of any song of your choice! Your solo should include a verse and a chorus.
That’s all there is to it! If you are called back, you will receive an email with more information on the callback process and date. During callbacks, we will sing some more together and get a chance to bond as a group.
can i AUDITION?
Of course! We encourage anyone and everyone to audition!
You do not have to be from South Asia, speak Hindi, read music, or have formal singing experience. We want to see your special talent. And if you have special skills like beatboxing and arranging, we'd love to know!
how much time is this group?
We rehearse twice a week for 2h each (total of 4h a week). Rehearsal attendance is required. We will schedule rehearsals at a time that works for everyone once we have all our new members!
The larger time commitment comes from all the time you will want to spend socializing with everyone :)
WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
Quite simply, this is the most fun you'll ever have in a-cappella on this campus. You get to meet friends that will stay with you even after you graduate, you get to sing music you love, and we're producing a new studio album, so you get to be on Spotify!!
